在《时代》周刊对Google首席执行官施密特的专访中，他有这么一段话说得很精彩：
我们带着问题——而非答案——去运营这家公司。所以在战略制定过程中，我们罗列了30个必须解答的问题。我可以给你举个例子：我们有很多钱，那么我们该拿这些钱做点什么呢？另一个例子是我们最近正在争论的问题：在内容方面，我们有AdSense这样了不起的产品，它将互联网内容转换成真金白银。如果你是内容的生产者，我们有可能发布与你的内容针锋相对的广告。这种现象十分普遍。我们如何让自己的产品制造更好的内容，而不仅仅是海量的内容？这是个有趣的问题。我们如何保证在视频领域，那些高质量的视频同样可以变成现金？搜索领域的下一轮重大突破会有哪些？还有一个充满挑战的问题：我们面对微软接二连三推出的新产品应该如何应对？你提出疑问，比简要地给出答案更为重要，这样才会激发讨论。在讨论之外，创新会接踵而至。创新不是你有天醒来高呼“我要创新”就可以的。如果你善于提问，那你就能拥有更好的创新文化(oaso建议译作“比较好的创造天赋”)。
很长的一个自然段，喘不过气了快。
在这篇专访中，施密特还就Google这些年的策略、商业伙伴、竞争对手和“所谓Web 2.0”的问题给出了正面回应。值得一读。
